Capturing Creativity with Mobile Photography Room 304

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Mobile photography provides an opportunity to be artistic, analytical, share experiences, and incorporate the real world into personal learning. An image can be the springboard for expressing ideas and enhancing understanding through digital media and critical thinking skills. Students can use it to express themselves, demonstrate learning, and be creative. Plus, the story of your classroom, school, or district can be communicated in an engaging and effective manner through images. Of course one of the most important perks of mobile photography is it’s just plain FUN!

In this session, we will share basic photo composition strategies, go on a photowalk, explore a few apps for editing, and discuss classroom applications.

Please bring a mobile device - phone or tablet - that takes pictures to this session as well as a Mac, PC or Chromebook.
