Using Online Simulations for Inquiry Learning Room 406

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

At the core of Common Core is inquiry: students learn from their experiences rather than from a teacher. Science classes have been conducted this way for years; now online simulations bring inquiry-based activities within the reach of any class. We’ll learn about some of the most popular and useful simulations available, and about how to incorporate those into a robust inquiry-based unit for students. For Beginning tech users; addresses CCSS standards RST3, RST7, RST8, and RST9, among others.
