STEAM is great, but what happens when the engineers can’t write about their inventions? How many opportunities are lost because a person with great technical skills can’t communicate with their colleagues about their ideas? Lets talk about how we add more technical writing to our classrooms. Lets play with some tools that will help students write about their observations, discoveries, and the data their experiments generate. Common Core standards dramatically increase the amount of technical literacy happening in our classrooms.
